    Comentarios
    Louis Sgarro, was a bass-baritone who sang with the Metropolitan Opera from 1954 to 1975.

    In 1954, he won the Metropolitan Opera Auditions of the Air, for which the prize included a contract for the 1954-55 season. In his years with the company, he appeared primarily in secondary roles in Italian operas, most often as the King in ''Aida.''
